Guide best hotels in Dubai Jumeira

Luxury hotels have been established on the artificial land of Palm Jumeïrah, including the outer dike. It's hard to choose from the dozens of 5-star hotels that all have excellent customer satisfaction ratings. Here are some tips for making the right choice.

First of all Atlantis Hotel, Palm Jumeïrah icon. The imposing building with its monumental arch is located in the middle of the island and it's hard to miss it. It's the perfect location to access water attractions like The Lost Chambers and Aquaventure. The hotel is huge with over 1500 rooms and suites designed to impress an international clientele. The services are of good quality, with obvious limitations in terms of personalization and exclusivity of services given the number of rooms.

In contrast, the One & Only The Palm, which has less than 100 rooms, and beautiful views of the coast and beaches of Jumeira. This is one of our favorite things on the palm. We also recommend the Fairmont The Palm, with its beautiful sunsets over the city of Dubai that can be admired from the pool.

The other hotels on the palm, with great amenities, in the reverse order of the clock are the Rixos The Palm Dubai, the hotel Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort of the prestigious Thai chain, Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, the Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa (and its version with apartments) and finally the very exclusive Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Royal Residences. Also worth mentioning is the Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah, with very good amenities, but a quality felt lower than the other establishments mentioned above.

The self-proclaimed best hotel in Dubai with 7 stars, the world-famous Burj Al Arab, with its atypical architecture in the form of windsurfing, practices very high prices and is full of superlatives and intentions luxurious. Tip: if it's within your budget, look at the pictures of the room decor to make sure it's to your liking.

For us the best hotels in Jumeirah Beach are the One & Only Royal Mirage (and its residence), and the hotels of the Jumeīrah chain Al Qasr Madinat Jumeirah, the Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and the Jumeirah Mina A Salam in Madinat Jumeirah and the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. The latter is located in the very quiet north of Jumeirah beaches, which is convenient for visiting all the tourist attractions of the city. But it does not enjoy the special atmosphere of the southern districts of Jumeïrah Beach.

The Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach, the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, the The Ritz-Carlton, The Royal Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

With only 4 stars, and therefore smaller prices, there are some good hotels, from South to North: DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach, the JA Ocean View Hotel. Possibly also the Hilton Dubai The Walk, which despite inferior benefits, has a very beautiful geographical position with many beaches, restaurants and shops around.

If you are looking for low cost hotels in Jumeirah Beach, please note that there are none. Indeed, the area is very dense and frequented by tourists, real estate prices are high. To pay less, it will be necessary to accept not to have a private beach and to approach Dubai Marina, even to rent an apartment in one of the Jumeïrah Beach Residences (JBR) towers.

The two best hotels in Dubai Marina are The Address Dubai Marina and the apartments of Grosvenor House. The InterContinental Dubai Marina is also very good.

Our favorite is a 4-star hotel, the Wyndham Dubai Marina, with beautiful views from the rooms and stylish modern decor. Less remote and north of the Marina, the Dubai Marriott Harbor And Suites Hotel is also a good choice.

There are some slightly cheaper hotels on the lower quality area, but overall you will not find cheap hotels around the Dubai Marina. On the other hand, there is an abundant supply of apartments for rent in glass towers erected on both sides of the artificial basin.

Dubai Media City is close to the beaches of Jumeirah but far enough away to escape the price madness of the area. This more business-oriented district has an offer of 3 and 4-star hotels of average quality but at prices well below all those mentioned so far.

Take a look at the Media One, Fraser Suites, the Radisson Blu and the Arjaan by Rotana

For this you have to get away from the coast and look on the other side of the E11 highway. For a reasonably priced, 5-star luxury hotel, go to the The Address Montgomerie, located in lush greenery, in the heart of a golf course. Other very good 5 star choices, the Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers and the Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

If all this is still too expensive for you, go see Al Barsha Height. Our favorite here is the Atana Hotel.

Another cheap hotel to mention: Holiday Inn Express Dubai Internet City. No special charm, but effective and breakfast included.

The easiest way is to bring your credit card and go through a recognized booking center like our affiliate Booking.com. It is strongly recommended to book in advance as Jumeirah is a popular area. Unmarried (or unisex) couples can stay in Dubai hotels without having to justify themselves (no need for a marriage certificate). The hotel will simply make a copy of the ID and ask for a credit card for the deposit.
