Nature Wildlife Drive on Bani Yas Island

A guide driving an all terrain model safari jeep will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel, or at the landing point of your ship. Each vehicle accommodates a maximum of 7 passengers. After a 15-minute drive, you will enter the animal park.

The classic tour is the crossing of land dedicated to gazelles, oryx, fallow deer and antelopes. Then the vehicle will enter an area with denser vegetation and the guide will look for giraffes and cheetahs. Then you will head to the mountains where other animals can be seen.

We advise you to sign up for the first morning round (before breakfast) or the last round of the day. In these time slots the animals are fed and are more numerous. It is recommended to book in advance, a few days before your stay, to be sure to have the desired schedule.

For Anantara hotel guests, the Nature & Wildlife Drive safari activity can be booked in advance or during the stay directly with the hotel. The price of the activity is 250AED plus taxes. There are no local tourist agencies offering the activity, so it's useless to look for a cheaper provider.

If you come to the island with a cruise liner, you can book the activity with your cruise company.

Please note that guests of Jebel Dhana Hotel located on the coast can book a Sir Bani Yas Island Tour with the concierge.

Other activities are offered by the hotel chain Anantara managing the site. For sports, riding with purebred Arabian, kayaking in the mangrove, mountain biking, sand yachting on the beach, archery, snorkelling (sea-watching with snorkeling), fishing big game, scuba diving. On the culture side, the ruins of a Christian monastery.

All activities can be booked contacting hotels on the island even if you do not have a room. In this case transfers from the coast will be organized for you.
