Yas Island and the new trendy place of emirates, with activities for all tastes: giant mall, amusement parks, Formula 1 circuit, luxury hotels, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. It's both a family destination, sporty and trendy.

Yas Island, which takes its name from a tribe in the region, aims to become a tourist hotspot with, according to the Abu Dhabi Tourist Board, attractions on the theme of the sea in the region. They aim to replicate what is done in Florida, combined with the theme of the desert, all with the elegance of Monte Carlo.

The Ferrari World is an amusement park dedicated to the world of automobiles and the Ferrari brand, with an atmosphere of Formula 1 Grand Prix and Italy. Many activities are offered for children of all ages. The biggest thrill-seekers will be able to try one of the four thrilling attractions, or drive a Ferrari in a racing simulator.
Opened late 2014, Yas Mall is the second largest mall in the country after Dubai Mall, and the first in Abu Dhabi after Marina Mall. In a short time it became the number one destination for shopping in Abu Dhabi.
Yas mall is backed by the Ferrari World (shared parking) which could have the advantage of dividing a family or a group into two teams according to the centers of interest of each. Many dining options exist, and there is a terrace with views of Ferrari World.

Yas Beach is currently the only beach on Yas Island, located on a stretch of sea in front of a mangrove. It is equipped with deckchairs, cabanas, a restaurant and toilets. Admission will cost you 50AED per adult on weekdays and 100AED on Fridays, Saturdays, and school holidays. Children from 8 to 16 years old pay half-price, free for children under 8 years old. Yas links is above all a Club (in the Anglo-Saxon sense of the term) with pool, gym and lounges. But above all it is a beautiful golf course with 18 holes along the shore, facing the mangrove.

Yas Marina has restaurants allowed to serve alcohol, in a very pleasant setting along the marina where it is pleasant to walk. There are open lounges, a Japanese restaurant, Italian, Lebanese. For hamburgers and live pub-style matches, prefer Stars 'N' Bars.
Hotels, Bars & Restaurants on Yas Island
The most luxurious hotel in Yas Island is W Abu Dhabi. It is the large white structure that constantly changes color during the night. This 5-star hotel is located in the middle of the Formula 1 circuit. The Yas Viceroy Hotel offers a large number of restaurants: international buffet (restaurant origins), asian cuisine (noodle box restaurant), Japanese restaurant Kazu), Italian (Amici restaurant), Arabic (Atayeb restaurant), Indian restaurant (Angar restaurant). Also the Burlesque restaurant which is also a lounge. The skylite is an outdoor rooftop, under the honeycomb structure, with DJ turntables for an electro house atmosphere. The Rush Nightclub Nightclub is located on the bridge spanning the Formula 1 circuit. Please note that Yas Viceroy has also a spa.
The other Yas Island hotels are all concentrated around a small square (Yas Plaza). The best ones are the Radisson Blu and the Crowne Plaza (4 stars of good standard) with their beautiful pools facing the mangrove. The Park Inn Hotel - with lower amenities - is paired with the Radisson Blue (same hotel group) which gives access to the beautiful swimming pool. Same for the Staybridge Suites which shares the facilities of the Crowne Plaza. On the other side of the square, the Rotanahotel:the Centro|7259 # have a swimming pool overlooking the Formula 1 circuit, and a tennis court.
All these hotels have a buffet restaurant and at least one bar. The bar of the Crowne Plaza is usually the busiest. The one with the nicest decor is the one of the Rotanahotel:Radisson Blu|6974 #. For tranquility, the Radisson Blu pool bar, or its Italian restaurant. Many other dining options with prices in the average exist in these 6 hotels.

Access map and practical information
Yas Island Island is administratively attached to the agglomeration of Abu Dhabi. It is an island connected to the mainland by numerous roads and motorways and by a tunnel. Yas Island is very close to Abu Dhabi International Airport (10 minutes by car) and has hotels, bars, restaurants and attractions. In case of long transfer to the airport, it is the ideal place to come to rest a few hours. Yas Island is a 45-minute drive from Dubai Jumeirah, and thirty minutes from central Abu Dhabi. It is a leisure center appreciated by the people of the emirates, and of course tourists from all over the world.

To get to Yas Island by bus, whether from Abu Dhabi bus terminal or Dubai bus terminal, take bus 190. If you are staying at a hotel in Yas Islands and Saadiyat, you can borrow the free Yas Express bus.
On site, taxis are relatively abundant especially near hotels, shops and amusement parks. There are BikeShare (like Velib de Paris), bicycles that you can rent on a terminal and return to another terminal.
